At Pairadocs Dental Group, we offer dental implants to our patients as a way to improve their smile and oral health.
Dental implants are a titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. Once the implant has healed, a dental crown is placed on the implant to replace the missing tooth.
White fillings are a type of dental filling that we use to fill cavities. They are made of a tooth-colored resin, which allows them to blend in with the surrounding teeth.

The surgical removal of gingiva (i.e., gum tissue). A gingivectomy is necessary when the gums have pulled away from the teeth creating deep pockets. The pockets make it hard to clean away plaque and calculus. Gingivectomy is usually done before gum disease has damaged the bone supporting the teeth.
After reviewing your Health History and taking blood pressure, your prophy (cleaning) will include scaling and polishing procedures to remove plaque, calculus, and stains. Your hygienist will also gather annual x-rays to detect bone loss and cavities and a periodic exam will be conducted by Dr. Bush as needed.
Periodontal therapy is prescribed when the tissue is no longer responding to traditional cleanings (Prophy). The term deep cleaning is often used for periodontal therapy. The need for Scaling and Root Planning may be diagnosed at any time if your x-rays show active infection. When a person has Periodontal Disease, bone loss has occurred. This is not reversible and more frequent monitoring and cleaning will be needed.
This cleaning is for minors 14 and under. We will take x-rays as needed, polish, floss, and provide toothbrush instructions. Fluoride Varnish is available upon request.
Simple extractions are relatively straightforward procedures that can be performed by your dentist in the office, requiring little to no major recovery time. This type of extraction is done on teeth clearly visible in the mouth and not still hiding beneath the gums. These will be performed using local anesthesia.
A debridement is a procedure needed when a patient has a large amount of calculus commonly referred to as tartar, below and above the gums. A routine prophy (cleaning) cannot remove this and it will interfere with decay, infection, and gum disease detection. During debridement, the hygienist will remove the excess buildup and the patient will be asked to return the following business day for a formal diagnosis and compressive exam.
Gingival therapy is prescribed when the gingival tissue becomes inflamed. Many factors contribute to this diagnosis. Our goal is to prevent bone loss at this stage. Regularly flossing and water pik usage can inhibit the progression of gingivitis to the next stage. Gingivitis is reversible!
When you have a repairable cavity, a white material called composite is put into your tooth after the dentist has drilled out all of the decay. Patients can get traditional fillings, inlays, or onlays, depending on the size of the crack or dental decay they need to repair. While conventional fillings use a tooth-colored solution called composite resin, onlays and inlays usually use porcelain for a better sea
A crown is a cover or “cap” your dentist puts over a compromised tooth. A crown can restore a broken tooth or a decayed tooth. The crown restores the tooth to its standard shape, size and function. Most crowns are made out of porcelain, durable and stain-resistant material.
Dental bridges bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. They involve creating a crown for the tooth or implant on either side of the missing tooth with a pontic (false tooth) in between.
Bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure that involves using a resin to attach a tooth-colored material to the surface of a tooth. We can use this material to improve the appearance of teeth that are stained, uneven, crooked, or misaligned.
Dentures. Patients that are missing multiple teeth in a row or an entire set of teeth may benefit from dentures. At Pairadocs Dental Group, we offer two dentures: partial and complete dentures. A partial denture can restore a few teeth in a row, while complete dentures can restore an entire set of missing teeth.
An implant is surgically placed into your jaw bone to replace a missing tooth. Unlike dental bridges, which replace only the visible part of a missing tooth, a dental implant replaces the entire tooth from the tooth’s root to its crown. Patients can receive a dental implant to replace one or more missing teeth. Implants can support dental crowns, bridges, and dentures.
