Meet the Doctors

Dr. Matthew Johnson

Dr. Johnson was born in Flint, Michigan in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart, Jonie, in 1981, and graduated from the University of Michigan two years later. Dr. Johnson is excited to have the opportunity to change his patients’ lives through dentistry, making them healthier, happier and more fulfilled. He has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry at the Nash Institute for Total Esthetics and is certified to provide 6 Month Smiles® accelerated adult braces.

Dr. Johnson and Jonie have two sons: Michael, who is working on his master’s degree in nuclear engineering, and Joshua, who is is studying biomedical engineering with the goal of pursuing patent law. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Johnson enjoys nature photography, playing sports, running and being outdoors.

Dr. Larry A. Bush, II

Dr. Bush grew up in Swartz Creek, Michigan. After earning his BS in biology from the University of Michigan in Flint, he went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to attain his DDS degree. Dr. Bush strongly believes in staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental technology, including laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic orthodontics and all aspects of restorative dentistry. He is certified to provide 6 Month Smiles® braces and has attended the Nash Institute for Total Esthetics. Dr. Bush has a true passion for dentistry, and his goal is to guide his patients into a lifetime of optimum oral health and help them attain the beautiful smiles they have always desired.

Dr. Bush is a fan of all sports, college and professional alike. When he is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Eva, and their children, Benjamin and Naomi.
